There’s nothing like waiting in the Father’s presence, and just being loved.
Taking time to be with Him changes everything.
It’s comfort for the deepest grief.
It’s peace for the wildest storm.
It’s joy in the bleakest agony.
Because He is so much deeper; so much sweeter; so much closer than we’ve ever imagined.
For every need, no matter how big; no matter how small… for every trial this world can throw at us, there is always the Father’s love available to us, to carry us through.
He knows how to comfort; how to heal, how to love like no-one else.
And there’s absolutely nothing like just being loved; just being held by Him.
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation”. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4a (KJV)
He’s always waiting to meet with me (and He’s always waiting to meet with you, too). 🙂
“LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.” Psalm 131 (KJV)
